It is no doubt that Burna Boy has become a global sensation and women would want to have a bite of him especially when he exudes so much energy on stage in many of his sold out shows.
Albeit, he’s had a roller-coaster when it comes to his love life, Burna Boy has never had to settle for less; he’s the man who will make you look at who he dates or hangs out with twice and go like ‘Damn!
Although his last relationship with music star Stefan Don didn’t end the way a lot of people had expected, Odogwu made sure that his next relationship won’t be anything less of another mega star who has what every man would love to have. The Stefflon Don relationship lasted from 2019 to 2021 by the way.
But Burna has since then moved on and has from all indication settled on American singer Chloe Bailey who has a history of keeping her love life private, despite being linked to several high-profile artists. While neither has officially confirmed their relationship, their affectionate moments in Lagos have only added to the speculation that Bailey may be doing something right to win the heart of the Afrobeats sensation.
After weeks of dating speculations, the two have confirmed their romantic involvement. What started as mere speculations of romance between both artistes which began in December 2024 when she visited Lagos for the first time, spending “Detty December” with the Afrobeats star, who personally picked her up from the airport with a bouquet has now become a thing.
There have been several videos of them enjoying the city’s nightlife which has fueled rumours, with some people believing their connection stemmed from when Chloe was seen in the front row at Burna Boy’s concert in St. Lucia. To even confirm this, the two on Thursday night, again became the talk of the town after viral videos of them surfaced showing Chloe Bailey back in Nigeria with Burna Boy and the latest dinner date reignited conversations about their relationship.
The “Last Last” crooner was suited up in style and pulled out all the stops, leading Chloe to his luxurious red car and holding the door open like a true gentleman. They attended a romantic dinner date with Burna Boy’s close associates, including popular dancer Poco Lee. The restaurant was decorated with Valentine-themed items, including rose petals and heart-shaped balloons.
Before this, Chloe had remained tight-lipped about her relationship with Burna Boy.During an appearance on The Breakfast Club in January, she dodged questions about their romance, instead, she talked about her time in Nigeria.
“Nigeria was so beautiful. I had the best time. I had some good food. I had pepper soup. I had lots of spicy chicken. Good,” she said when asked about her alleged romance with Burna Boy. When pressed further about their relationship status, Chloe responded, “Well, I’m a grown woman. I had a great time in Nigeria. He’s a grown man, just like I’m a grown woman.”
Burna Boy’s past relationship with British rapper Stefflon Don was also dragged into the mix in December last year, with some fans comparing the two relationships. Interestingly, a video of Stefflon Don receiving a Rolls-Royce Cullinan as a birthday gift resurfaced around the same time as Burna and Chloe’s dating rumours. Some speculated that Steff was trying to “steal the spotlight” from Chloe.
Another viral clip showed Burna Boy surprising Chloe with a lavish, matching Rolex wristwatch, which she flaunted. Whether in a full-blown romance, a musical collaboration, or friendship, fans eagerly wait for the next step in their relationship as their bond continues to spark online buzz.
