Comedian and food content creator SDK Dele has admitted that the death of fellow food creator Kwame Dzokoto has frightened him about the possible health risks of his profession.
The entertainer said the incident had made him reflect on his own health, promising to take his wellbeing more seriously as he continues creating food-related content.
“Yeah, it scares me. It really scares me. I’ll use that as a lesson too,” SDK Dele said in an interview on Hitz FM.
He explained that food creators who regularly eat different meals for their content could face health challenges if they failed to balance their eating habits with exercise and regular medical check-ups.
SDK Dele said he had observed food creators in other parts of the world gaining weight and appearing to experience health complications as they continued producing content.
However, he noted that some creators had found ways to manage the demands of the job by exercising regularly and seeking medical attention while continuing to eat for their videos.
He stressed the importance of taking such precautions, particularly for creators whose careers require them to consume food frequently.
SDK Dele over the years has created a lot of food content fo many eatery joints across the country and has been recognized hugely for his contribution in promoting food brands.
