Celebrated Ghanaian musician of the defunct ‘Akyeame’ group, Okyeame Quophi has stated in an interview with KMJ on JOY PRIME that the only person he will call in the entertainment industry to his rescue if he’s in a big trouble will be actress and presenter Nana Ama Mcbrown.
The musician appeared on the morning show to be celebrated as a father in a build up to the ‘Father’s Day’ celebration on Sunday.
He spoke about life from his music days, to being ordained as a pastor and also how he handled the breakup of the group Akyeame with his friend Okyeame Kwame.
During the interview, Okyeame Quophi also recounted his role as a father to his children and encouraged fathers to continue to be guardians to their children and not try to dictate much of how they live or who they become.
Okyeame Quophi is one of the big names in the advertising industry now with many productions to his while still doing music. He latest song ‘Toto Wo Pa Ko’ is available on all digital platforms.
He’s married to the beautiful Stacy Amoateng with three children.
