Comedian and television host Trevor Noah has stated that hosting this year’s awards was emotionally the hardest GRAMMYs he’s ever done.
He said this during a conversation on his “What now? With Trevor Noah” podcast about the GRAMMYs and the drama that could have happened if Kanye West was allowed into the auditorium.
On the podcast, Trevor and his guest discussed things that happened, almost happened, and didn’t happen during the 67th GRAMMYs.
Speaking on the podcast, Trevor who spoke about what could have happened if Kanye West had found his way in the auditorium also admitted that this year’s GRAMMYs was emotional the hardest GRAMMYs he’s ever done.
“So so the first part i would say is this, I wouldn’t be afraid, but I’d be worried for the show and what’s gonna happen. Cause now, is Kanye gonna go up when Taylor is up again now? Cause now I am the person who’s in the room. And then now I go, you know, you don’t want Kanye West get tackled by security guard but you also don’t wanna be the security guard, you know what I mean? Cause I don’t know about you but like this GRAMMYs emotionally was the was the hardest GRAMMYs I’ve ever done” he said.
The 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards carried a renewed sense of purpose: raising additional funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honoring the bravery and dedication of first responders who risk their lives to protect ours,” said CBS in a news release before the awards.
