Celebrated Highlife crooner, Kwabena Kwabena has shared his view on what he thinks makes relationships work.
Speaking in an interview with KMJ ahead of his annual Valentine event, Kwabena Kwabena stated that love is supposed to be selfless and a sacrifice so when two people are genuinely in love it works.
He intimated that true love is not easy to find because one can’t just walk out one day and find true love. Adding that anything that is precious has to go through a certain level of process — citing Diamond and Gold as examples of ornaments that goes through a process to be adored by many people.
Kwabena Kwabena who is set to host his annual Valentine Day event on 14th February at the Grand Arena will be sharing the stage with Kidi, Olive The Boy, King Promise, Fameye and host of others.
The musician will also be celebrating 20 years of his hit song ‘Asor’. He has hinted that plans are underway for a grand celebration on Valentine’s Day to mark his two decades in the music industry as well.
Kwabena Kwabena’s breakthrough came in 2004 with his debut album, ‘Asor’.
Three of his songs were featured on the soundtrack of Sparrow Productions’ The Perfect Picture.
His notable hits include ‘Ka Kyere Me’, ‘Trodom’, ‘Adea Waye Me’, ‘Fakye Me’, and ‘Me Ne Woa’.
The singer released his second album, Dabi, in 2007. Kwabena Kwabena is passionate about philanthropy and is committed to giving back to his Ghanaian community. This passion led him to establish the Kwabena Kwabena Save a Life Foundation.
He has received numerous local and international awards, including Best Vocal Performance and Best Songwriter.
