Oscar winner Jamie Foxx has officially expanded his family. The 58-year-old actor and musician and his girlfriend, Australian-born former fitness model Alyce Huckstepp, 31, have welcomed their first child together.
Multiple outlets confirmed the news following initial reports from People and TMZ.
While news of the baby’s arrival broke this week, the couple has kept specific details under wraps. Representatives for Foxx have not publicly released the newborn’s name, gender, or exact birth date, maintaining the couple’s low-profile approach to their private life.
The new arrival marks Huckstepp’s first child and Foxx’s third. The Ray actor is already father to two adult daughters: Corinne Foxx, 32, and Anelise Bishop, 18, from previous relationships.
Foxx recently spoke about becoming a father again later in life during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, candidly reflecting on parenthood at 58. “I wasn’t on the fence about [becoming a dad again], but being 58… you know what I’m saying?” the actor joked.
The birth follows a private pregnancy journey that first came to light in May, when reports confirmed the couple was expecting. Foxx and Huckstepp were first publicly linked in mid-2023. Aside from a brief split early last year, the two have remained close throughout Foxx’s recovery from a major 2023 medical emergency and his subsequent return to screen and stage projects.
The addition to the family comes amidst a busy period for Foxx, who recently starred in the comedy special Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… and the Netflix action comedy Back in Action alongside Cameron Diaz.
