Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie has revealed plans for an impromptu visit to four African nations starting Monday, following his recent engagements in Kumasi.
In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), the award-winning artist clarified that the upcoming trips to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria are purely leisure and promotional visits rather than scheduled performance tours.
“I told my team I wanna visit some African countries after Kumasi not to perform but just visit and I’m doing that from Monday … Uganda 🇺🇬 Kenya 🇰🇪 Tanzania 🇹🇿 and Nigeria 🇳🇬,” Sarkodie posted to his millions of followers.

The announcement generated immediate buzz across social media, with fans in Kampala, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, and Lagos calling on the hip-hop star to host meet-and-greets and media appearances during his stops.
While no official performance dates have been slated, the cross-continental trek highlights Sarkodie’s ongoing efforts to deepen connections with his fanbase and music industry peers across the African continent.
