Top Ghanaian journalist Godwin Asediba has been named the winner of the 2025 BBC News Komla Dumor Award, in recognition of his impactful investigative journalism, which has played a key role in exposing injustice and advocating for vulnerable communities.
He becomes the 10th recipient of the award, which was established to honour the legacy of the late Ghanaian BBC journalist, Komla Dumor.
As part of the award, Godwin Asediba will travel to London for a three month period with BBC News, where he will work across its television, radio, and online platforms.
