Ice Cube and Mike Epps reunite for new ‘Listen & Laugh’ podcast series featuring Dr. Dre as inaugural guest

Decades after creating one of hip-hop and cinema’s most enduring comedy dynamic duos, Ice Cube and Mike Epps are officially taking their chemistry to the digital airwaves with the launch of their new audio and video series, Listen & Laugh.

The weekly series officially debuts Friday, Nov. 6, releasing every Friday at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET across YouTube and all major podcast streaming platforms.

Built around the legendary banter established when the pair starred as Craig and Day-Day in Next Friday (2000) and Friday After Next (2002), Listen & Laugh translates their classic porch-side dynamics into a modern interview show. The show’s tagline succinctly captures the duo’s distinct dual energy: “Cube’s gonna make you listen and Epps is gonna make you laugh.”

Setting a high standard straight out of the gate, hip-hop icon and N.W.A co-founder Dr. Dre serves as the inaugural guest for the series premiere. In the inaugural episode, Dr. Dre reflects on his early career origins, his collaborative history alongside Ice Cube, and personal anecdotes from their decades in the music industry.

Following the premiere, Listen & Laugh boasts a stacked guest roster spanning comedy, sports, music, and entertainment. The lineup of upcoming featured guests includes comedy and screen stars Cedric the Entertainer, Bill Burr, Regina King, Katt Williams, Michael Blackson, Luenell, Mojo Brookz, Funny Marco, and O’Shea Jackson Jr. The show will also host prominent music and culture figures such as The Game, Lil Dicky, Benny Blanco, Jack Harlow, and T.I., alongside sports and media personalities Stephen A. Smith, Dana White, and Michael Strahan.

A newly released trailer previews lighthearted exchanges and deep-dive discussions on career milestones, personal stories, and pop culture debates. Watch the inaugural episode premiere and series trailer directly via the Official Listen & Laugh Podcast Channel, which provides direct video streaming access to the debut episode featuring Dr. Dre as well as ongoing releases from Ice Cube and Mike Epps.
