Ghana Football Awards 2025: Thomas Partey crowned Footballer Of The Year.

The 7th edition of the prestigious Ghana football Awards for 2025, was held at the International Conference Center in Accra yesterday. The glamours  event is celebrated annually to recognize and award home based and foreign based players for their outstanding performances in the beautiful game of football. This years event was held in a grand style by paying homage to legends our game. Notable legends such as Mr. Herbert Mensah, Mr. Harry Zakkour and Mr. Ken Mensah were all celebrated.

The event begun with a Red Carpet show which was hosted by sports journalists Owuraku Ampofo and Alexis Laura Daniels displayed a wide range of glitz and glamour by prominent and notable past and present football stars. The event was graced by stellar musical performances by the legend Amandzeba Nat Brew and fast rising Ghanaian music talents Olive The boy and Enam.

The main event hosted by award wining journalist Nathaniel Attoh and ace Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas, begun at exactly 8 pm with Arsenal star Thomas Partey sweeping the ultimate award of the night after an impressive season with his club and the Black Stars of Ghana. Several home based players such Stephen Amankona who has been on a blistering form this season for local side Berekum Chelsea was recognized and awarded alongside Nations F.C skipper Razak Simpson.
