M.anifest celebrates a decade of Hip-Hop royalty with sold-out ‘Nowhere Cool’ 10th anniversary concert

Ghanaian hip-hop rap titan M.anifest marked a monumental milestone in African music history on Saturday, October 24, 2026, delivering a sold-out anniversary concert to celebrate ten years of his landmark album, Nowhere Cool.

Held at the prestigious Accra Polo Club, “The Nowhere Cool @ 10 Live Experience” saw thousands of fans (“Manifans”) gather for a nostalgic journey through what remains one of the most culturally significant African hip-hop albums of the 21st century.

A Decade of Cultural Resonance

Originally released in 2016, Nowhere Cool established M.anifest as a master lyricist capable of seamlessly bridging Pan-African sensibilities with global hip-hop production. Drawing its title from a quote by the late Ghanaian literary icon Ama Ata Aidoo—who featured on the project—the 14-track album tackled themes of ambition, identity, displacement, and social commentary.

A decade later, the album’s enduring power was on full display as the crowd sang along word-for-word to every track.

“Nowhere Cool wasn’t just an album; it gave language to the contradictions, struggles, and beauty of our generation,” noted one concertgoer. “Experiencing it live ten years later proves how timeless M.anifest’s pen really is.”

An Unforgettable Live Performance

Opening its doors in the early evening, the event brought together dedicated fans, cultural icons, and music enthusiasts from across the continent. M.anifest delivered a masterclass live set, performing all 14 tracks from the original project alongside a live band.

The atmosphere reached a fever pitch as classic cuts like “god MC,” “Bebia Nti,” and “100%” resonated across the outdoor venue, highlighting the rapper’s signature sharp delivery and intricate rhyme schemes.

The Legacy of Nowhere Cool

The sold-out turnout underscores M.anifest’s status as a creative anchor in Ghanaian music who consistently prioritizes craft over fleeting trends.

Speaking on the milestone, M.anifest expressed deep gratitude to his fanbase for standing by the project over the past decade. The event concluded shortly after 10:00 PM, cementing Nowhere Cool not only as a career-defining effort for the rapper, but as a living piece of contemporary African music history.
