Yesterday, while I was on my way to Accra from Gomoa Central for the preparations ahead of the biggest Easter Carnival, a random person showed me kindness.
A young man I met at a restaurant I’d gone to eat with my team noticed me and walked to me. He stated with admiration how much he loves what I do on TV and how long he’s been a fan of my works.
I was excited to meet him. We shared some moments and took some pictures and I even gave him my number.
Now this is what struck me, when I was done and about to leave the restaurant, he stood up from his seat and shook my hands while we said our goodbyes.

Surprisingly, I felt some paper notes in my palm as we shook hands and left each other. A gesture I’d later find out to be GHC 200 notes.
Honestly, I didn’t need it because I should rather be doing that to him as appreciation of my works but again I also felt what that means for a random person to give you his hard-earned money just because he loves what you do. I realized at that point that it’s the little kindness and I truly appreciate it.
Guess what, this morning, someone who needed that amount of money badly reached out and I gladly sent it to the person.
Yes! I’m not rich but if that money will make a significant impact in the life of another person today, why not?.
I want to say a big thank you to the guy for that gesture. Shockingly, he still hasn’t even texted me for me to appreciate him for what he did cuz I gave my number to him and not the other way round.
