Hosting or Mcing an event is 80% Events Management and 20% the actual MC job. If the event fails, you’ve failed as an MC.
So instead of trying to make the event all about you, make the event about the person who paid you to host the event and channel your energy towards handling the little things that have the potential of marring the beauty of the event.
Consult more with who has paid you to work and deliver. Pay attention to the little detail and make sure you stick to the one thing ; the success of the event.
Your next gig is always determined by the success of your previous gig.
